At AADA, we believe every child and young person deserves the right to not just access, but shine in dance and theatre, regardless of economic background. We have seen first hand how learning the arts can transform lives. DREAM2DANCE is a bursary fund for children and young people in Oxfordshire interested in dance who lack financial means, designed to make dance education accessible to all.
These bursaries typically offer financial support to cover expenses such as tuition fees, dance attire, examination costs, and sometimes travel expenses for attending classes or performances. Aiming to nurture young talent by providing opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
The application process might involve submitting a personal statement, recommendations, and sometimes an audition. Such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting inclusivity and diversity in the arts, ensuring that talent is recognised and nurtured irrespective of financial constraints.
